Eunice, it is an interesting sence in our daily life! actually, i think the cotton and the natural environment is quite match. The can and bottle should be something inorganic but the organic botton give them a sense of lively power. i love the 2nd picture, big scale of tree trunk with small scale inorganic items, a big constrast but is peaceful to place in the same environment. they are narrative, in my mind...
Eunice, It is so nice that you spot the strange things in our natural environment!! But, why there are cotton on the rocks? Is it man-made or naturally born there?
I like the big contrast of cotton and rock ~ Soft and hard , light and heavy.
And I am fascinated by your ironic feeling of protecting the non-environmental friendly substance of in the place. As people would be confused about the real matter under the cotton, people would feel you are protecting something valuable, something good.
We protect them, but, we know we are spoiling them as well.

It will be nice if there are more close up pictures. Can't see them clearly now.
